Manchester City managed to advance to the 2023/2024 FA Cup final. This success was achieved after beating Chelsea with a score of 1-0 in the semifinals, Saturday (21/4/2024).

Both teams traded attacks and had many opportunities. However, no goals were scored throughout the first half.

Chelsea immediately stepped on the gas in the second half. The Blues had two chances from Jackson, but they were thwarted well by the Manchester City goalkeeper.

In the 69th minute, Manchester City had another chance via Jeremy Doku’s shot. However, his attempt was thwarted by the Chelsea goalkeeper.

One minute later, it was De Bruyne’s turn to threaten the Chelsea goal. However, the Belgian midfielder’s shot still did not meet the target.

The deadlock was finally broken in the 84th minute. Bernardo Silva scored a goal for Manchester City after grabbing the ball thrown in front of the Chelsea goal.

Manchester City’s lead lasted until the second half ended. The Citizens won 1-0 and have the right to advance to the FA Cup final this season.
