Spain succeeded in becoming champions of Euro 2024 after winning the match against England with a score of 2-1. The Spain vs England match in the Euro 2024 final will take place at the Olympiastadion, Berlin, , on Sunday (14/7/2024).
Spain took the lead first via a goal from Nico Williams (47′). Yamal provided an assist or that led to a goal for Nico Williams. England then equalized through Cole Palmer (73′). After that, Mikel Oyarzabal emerged as the person who ensured Spain’s victory through a goal in the 86th minute.
Sadly, England have not yet been able to complete their thirst for a major title. - Spanish player, Lamine Yamal, became the youngest player to appear in the Euro 2024 final after appearing at the age of 17 years and 1 day.
- Lamine Yamal also became the youngest footballer to play in the final of a major tournament. He sured the record of Brazilian legend Pele, who played in the 1958 World Cup final at the age of 17 years, 249 days.
