After going through a strict evaluation, Coach Dora emphasized that roster changes are always based on in-depth analysis results. “We will definitely always evaluate roster changes, and if there are changes and so on, it will definitely be based on the evaluation results. All reserve players definitely depend on the results of the existing scrim, and based on the evaluation, it will probably be determined H-1 week before the match,” said Coach Dora.
Not only focusing on roster composition, Coach Dora also has high expectations for the team. “With the current roster, the expectations of the coaching team are still champions, but when it comes to the season, we focus on our process. We fix our mistakes step by step, learn from each other until the season is over,” he added. The main hope of the team is to improve performance and achieve consistency from the early game to the late game.
GEEK FAM shows their commitment to developing the potential of young talent by recruiting Maykidss and Kenzy from MDL. Coach Dora explained the reason, “Why did I take Maykidss and Kenzy from MDL, because they are already mechanically competent, and in several tournaments that I have seen them play, they have a good attitude and mentality. I believe that there are many young talents in Indonesia who have potential, and we hope that with GEEK FAM we can develop their potential.”
In of scouting, Coach Dora also revealed his unique approach, “In of scouting, usually when there are big tournaments, we like to watch them live. It just so happened that Kenzy had a recommendation, then when Maykidss was there, we saw the tournaments that he played. So the point of scouting is more about attending tournaments that are running.”
With a combination of strict evaluation strategies, young talent regeneration, meta adaptation, and strong player mentality, GEEK FAM is ready to give their best in MPL ID Season 15. They not only want to compete, but also have the ambition to become champions.
