Marc Marquez successfully emerged as the winner of the Spanish MotoGP Sprint Race at the Jerez Circuit, Saturday (26/4).
Quartararo started the race well. He managed to maintain the race leader position which was tried to be taken over by Marc Marquez.
Quartararo led followed by Marc Marquez and Alex Marquez who were in the top three positions at the start of the race.
Quartararo then experienced an unfortunate fate when the race had just entered the second lap. El Diablo slipped at turn six and could not continue the race.
Marquez also led the race. He slowly managed to distance himself from Alex Marquez to one second entering the fourth lap.
On the other hand, sco Bagnaia was still stuck in third place. Pecco has not been able to close the gap with Alex Marquez.
The positions of the top three riders did not change until the MotoGP Spain Sprint Race had four laps left. Outside the top three, Aprilia rider Maverick Vinales was only in seventh place.
Meanwhile, Pedro Acosta was in 10th position until the last lap of the Spanish MotoGP Sprint Race.
Marquez was able to end the race in the front position. The Spanish racer was followed by Alex Marquez and Bagnaia to occupy the top three positions in the Sprint Race.
Before this match took place, Marquez had called Alex Marquez the toughest opponent in the 2025 Spanish MotoGP.
Alex Marquez was the best on the first day of the 2025 Spanish MotoGP on Friday (25/4). The Gresini Racing rider was the fastest in the first free practice (FP1) and also practice.
What was impressive was that Alex Marquez had an accident during the practice session and received treatment at the medical center after an accident at turn 5 which resulted in a red flag. But after that Alex became the ‘winner’.
That epic report card made Marquez consider Alex Marquez as the toughest competitor in the 2025 Spanish MotoGP.
