NBA Updates MVP Race as Season Ends 4i4n2a

The NBA MVP race maintains its competitive duel between Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Nikola Jokic as the season approaches its final stages.

The league issued the seventh-to-last ranking update during this recent Friday. The regular season has just one more update before it ends.

Both Oklahoma City Thunder and Denver Nuggets star players occupy the top positions as expected. Such a dominance trend has persisted during most of the season.

Throughout the weeks both Gilgeous-Alexander and Jokic prove superior to the rest of their competition. The award competition exists only between the duo of candidates.

The Canadian point guard holds the top position in the MVP race for the third time this season.

Gilgeous-Alexander delivers outstanding play as the leader of his first-place team. The current winning streak of the Thunder has reached 11 consecutive victories.

Gilgeous-Alexander seems destined to win the NBA MVP title when this season concludes as he overtakes Jokic in their personal competition.

Reporters will determine which player receives the award through their voting process. The regular season ends on April 13, in just over a week.

Through 73 games Shai averaged 32.8 points together with five rebounds and 6.3 assists, 1.7 steals and one block.

Drawing the most points from all 2024/25 competitors, the point guard demonstrates excellence in defence also.

The Canadian becomes the unique basket ball player who managed to secure spots within the top 5 rankings for defence and offence sections.

His essential contributions occur with equal importance on offence and defence.

While, the chances are decent for Gilgeous-Alexander to secure his inaugural MVP award.

Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry had been placed at position number seven in the MVP race until last week. His current position has advanced to fifth place from its previous seventh ranking.

With this move up he has outpaced the partnership between Donovan Mitchell (Cleveland Cavaliers) and LeBron James (Los Angeles Lakers).
