Pedro Acosta Signs New Multi 52c3s Year MotoGP Contract with KTM

Pedro Acosta Signs New Multi-Year MotoGP Contract with KTM 602a70

Pedro Acosta has reportedly signed a significant new contract with KTM, securing his future with the manufacturer for the coming years.

The details of the contract and the implications for Acosta’s career have generated significant interest and speculation within the MotoGP community.

Acosta’s current deal with KTM was set to expire at the end of 2024, but it included a clause to extend the partnership into 2025.

Recent reports suggest that Acosta has accepted a one-year extension that would tie him to KTM until the end of 2025.

Additionally, KTM has tabled a brand-new two-year contract, which, if signed, would mean the Spaniard is contracted to the manufacturer until the end of 2026.

If Acosta signs the new contract, he is expected to become a factory rider and would reportedly want to keep the same technical staff around him.

With the factory team race seats currently occupied, KTM appears to have options to place Acosta into its GasGas Tech3 satellite team.

KTM’s investment in the smaller grand prix classes, particularly through the Red Bull Ajo team, has paid off with the top talents in the Moto2 World Championship and Moto3 title winner all under contract to the Austrian manufacturer.

Acosta’s impressive start to the MotoGP season, including podium finishes and leading races, has garnered significant attention and interest from multiple teams.

There are high expectations for Acosta’s performance in the races, with many believing that he could secure his first victory soon.

KTM’s decision to secure Acosta’s services for the coming years reflects their confidence in his potential and their commitment to nurturing young talent within the MotoGP ecosystem.

The move also aligns with KTM’s broader strategy of investing in rising stars and securing their long-term commitment to the manufacturer.
