It must be itted that the current strength of Fnatic ONIC PH (FNOP) is unrivaled. The team consisting of Kirk, K1NGKONG, Super Frince, Kelra, and Brusco has just confirmed its name as world champion in the M6 World Championship. They climbed the podium after defeating the Indonesian representative, Team Liquid ID (TLID) with a final score of 4-1.
In the crucial round, FNOP displayed extraordinary gameplay. Their dominance in each round successfully made TLID have to think hard to keep up with their game. However, the final result determined that FNOP deserved to be world champion.
Fnatic ONIC PH stepped forward strongly since the beginning of the Swiss Stage round. They never tasted defeat even once and became the first team to immediately secure a seat in the playoffs phase and were then followed by RRQ Hoshi.
From this Swiss Stage, they immediately became a scary specter and were predicted to be the “last king” at the M6 World Championship. They wrapped up Selangor Red Giants with a landslide score of 2-0 on the first day of the playoffs which made the host team drop to the lower bracket.
Kelra and friends did indeed get significant resistance when they played against Falcon Esports. In the upper bracket semifinals, they were held to a 2-2 draw and managed to bounce back by closing the hot match 3-2.
Continuing, FNOP became even more formidable when they first met TLID. In the upper bracket finals, the team from Indonesia was forced to surrender 3-1. From the results of the match, their winning percentage was even higher. The reason is, their team and individual gameplay aspects were so solid, with almost minimal gaps.
The second meeting was more or less the same. TLID had to struggle to be able to beat FNOP. Although they managed to steal one round, it actually made FNOP even stronger. Two rounds later, FNOP seemed to be “eager” to lift the prestigious M6 World Championship trophy. They played aggressively and continued to pressure TLID in every line.
