Why was Romelu Lukaku called a traitor by Ultras Inter Milan? This news became a hot topic of conversation following the departure of the Belgian player from Chelsea this summer.
This is not the first time Romelu Lukaku has worn Ultras Inter Milan. The 30-year-old player spent two seasons defending the Nerazzurri in 2019-2021. He also successfully brought Inter Milan to win the 2020/2021 Serie A Scudetto.
With Inter Milan he successfully recorded 64 goals and 16 assists from 95 matches. However, in the 2022 season, Lukaku moved to Chelsea to complete Thomas Tuchel’s attack line. Unfortunately, he actually sat as a reserve more often last season.
This made Lukaku want to return to Inter Milan. Inter Milan fans, Curva Nord, welcomed Lukaku’s wish. They always the Belgian player.
However, it turned out that Ultras Inter Milan called Romelu Lukaku a traitor because he was interested in Juventus’ offer. The Curva Nord believes that what Lukaku did was a form of betrayal. They also said Lukaku was more concerned with money.
“You have betrayed us all. We always stood up for you in times of trouble, now you are stabbing us. You sold yourself to the highest bidder after kissing our badge. You are not a real man.” said Ultras Inter Milan, launching the Twitter Sportbible, Thursday (20/07/23).
Romelu Lukaku also soured his relationship with the Nerazzurri manager. Meanwhile his parent club, Chelsea, have cut ties with the player and are desperate to sell him.
It is still unknown which club will house the man who was born on May 13, 1992. So far the star is still training in London with of Chelsea.
The 30-year-old striker was originally ed by Ultras Inter Milan. But that deal has now collapsed after Lukaku’s negotiations with Juventus came to a head. Lukaku has the heart to betray Ultras Inter Milan to negotiate with Juventus.
It seems that Juventus fans are not happy with Lukaku’s arrival. A group of fans protested the club’s decision to sign the striker.
“We don’t want Lukaku. Inter fans are against the arrival of the striker,” launched the Twitter Tutto Mercato Web, Thursday (20/07/23).
